District Reports: Getting From A to B? Does the City Approval Process Need Streamlining?
Host, former Alder Eve Galanter, and her guests, 11th District Alder Chris Schmidt and 17th District Alder Joe Clausius, discussed the efforts of the Economic Development Committee (of which both Alders are members) to examine the City’s approval process for development projects and look for ways to streamline it. This effort comes, of course, on the heels of the saga of the Edgewater Hotel project.
