After approximately 1 year of restoration, the City of Madison held an event to celebrate the re-opening of the Madison Municipal Building. The event featured local music, food, art and entertainment. Madison Poet Laureate and Director of Omega School, Oscar Mireles reads a piece he wrote in celebration of the building. Mayor Paul Soglin speaks about building's 90 year history and the importance of its role in encouraging civic engagement.
